Mobile Entrepreneurs in Africa

In January 2010 Vodafone Group  donated $1million to the Web Foundation.

One of the projects that was kicked off as a result of this new relationship between Vodafone Group and the Web Foundation is called “Mobile Entreprenurs in Africa“.

This project has already had an impact in Accra, Ghana, where we have focussed our activities in the first year.  We have launched a new community called “Mobile Web Ghana“.  Who are now offering training courses on mobile web to potential entrepreneurs in Accra – see training outline.
